What to Bring to the LSAT
Identification
You will need to bring an original, government-issued photo ID to the LSAT. This ID must be valid and not expired. The ID must also include your full name, signature, and date of birth.
Acceptable forms of identification include:
- Driver's license
- Passport
- Military ID
- State ID card
Admission Ticket
You will need to bring your LSAT admission ticket to the test center. The admission ticket will include your name, test date, test time, and test center location.
You can print your admission ticket from the LSAC website.
Pencils
You will need to bring several sharpened pencils to the LSAT. The pencils must be No. 2 or HB pencils.
You can purchase pencils at the test center, but it is better to bring your own so that you can be sure that they are sharpened and in good condition.
Calculator
You are not allowed to bring a calculator to the LSAT.
If you need to use a calculator, you will be provided with one at the test center.
Food and drinks
You are not allowed to bring food or drinks into the test center.
There will be a break during the LSAT, and you will be able to purchase food and drinks at the test center during the break.
Other items
In addition to the required items listed above, you may also want to bring the following items to the LSAT:
- A light jacket or sweater
- A watch
- Ear plugs
You will be able to store your belongings in a locker at the test center.
